Christmas!

Wow! Christmas went by way too fast! We both were lucky enough to get about 2 weeks off and we spent the majority going to and from our parents houses. Christmas was really nice this year. We spent Christmas Eve celebrating with my family in Franklin. Carly got so many things...toys, clothes, computer games...she even got a 3-D movie which we all enjoyed! Even Nanny who turned 97 on December 23 got in on the 3-D action! (She also got this new scarf for Christmas if you can't tell)!

On Christmas morning, after Dad fixed us a big Christmas breakfast, we headed to Lucas' family Christmas. Boy were the kids fired up! All 4 of them got new cell phones (I think they're really into text messaging because that's all we saw them do), Northface jackets, and Sperrys. After we opened gifts-all us girls went to watch a movie. We've decided to make it a family tradition!

It was a very nice, relaxed Christmas. I'm so glad we got to spend our first Christmas together getting to spend so much time with both of our families. I'm so thankful for our time off form work and school and that we were able to get some R&R before a new (last ever) semester!
