We had our first snow day today! The university sent a text message at 5:30 a.m. letting us know we could sleep in-the university was closed! Freezing rain came down most of the day and into the night. About 8 p.m. we got another text saying we'd have yet another snow day! Here are some pictures around our place on Tue. We're about to go out today and get some new pictures. It looks so much worse right now. All the snow we got yesterday is now covered in about 1" of ice and more snow on top of that. Its going to take forever to get Louisville clean!
Luckily we had a big grocery trip this weekend! I made a huge pot of potato soup and we've really enjoyed it theses past few days! We've got milk and bread so I hope we're prepared for the next couple days because snow and cold temperatures are in the forecast!
